New Jonas Brothers album set for sales slide
LOS ANGELES (Billboard) – The Jonas Brothers are on track to score their second No. 1 album in less than a year next week, although sales will be sharply lower this time.
Industry analysts expect their Disney release "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" could sell upwards of 275,000 to 300,000 copies when the Billboard 200 is published on Wednesday.
The three siblings' last studio effort, "A Little Bit Longer," bulldozed its way to a No. 1 debut last August, when it started with 525,000.
The JoBros are scheduled to chat on CNN's "Larry King Live" on Thursday and perform on NBC's "Today" on Friday. The band's tour kicks off on Saturday in Dallas at Cowboys Stadium.
The current Billboard 200 champ is the Black Eyed Peas "The E.N.D.," which sold 304,000 copies during the week ended June 14.
Incubus' new hits collection "Monuments and Melodies" may arrive in the top 10 next week while Michael Buble's "Michael Buble Meets Madison Square Garden" and Will Downing's "Classique" could open in the top 20.
